Can you see through walls?

The US Air Force has millions of square feet of 14-inch thick reinforced concrete and they need to know its condition. Easy enough, right? Not so fast! That concrete is behind a coated steel lining that’s up to ½-inch thick AND it’s only accessible from the steel-lined side.

The US Air Force and AFWERX Vegas team are seeking the technology to perform non-destructive evaluation through the steel to determine the condition of the concrete behind it. They will use this technology to evaluate structures around the US. Solution-providers will have the chance to compete for follow-on Government contracts.

So whether your technology or methodology represents a stand-alone solution or part of a solution, enter your submission today. Only submissions to this challenge will be considered for this amazing opportunity!
